Bridging Academic Research & Pharmaceutical Innovation
I am a PhD immunologist leading a team of investigators to better understand immunotherapy response in patients with colorectal cancer. Our team uses a bed-to-benchside (and back) approach where human specimens are collected and processed into a research biorepository we established in 2024. We use large-scale next-generation sequencing (NGS) and spatial-omics approaches to identify biomarkers and novel targets for immunotherapy development. Then, we validate this work using in vitro models or develop knockout/reporter mice. As a scientist, I have extensive experience in all forms of NGS, including single cell multiome, immune receptor profiling, and spatial transcriptomics and a decade of experience in flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques.
